Outdoor learning

Children enjoy a huge range of activities, from ICT and gardening, to cookery and arts & crafts. They also benefit from specialist teachers in music, drama, dance and PE. Nursery children participate wholeheartedly in the life of the school, taking part in events such as Science Week, Sports Day and charity activities.

Nursery children take full advantage of our wonderful new EYFS outdoor learning area, and nursery children also enjoy access to the wooden adventure playground, extensive grounds, hall and other areas.

Outdoor learning

Nursery education provides children with a firm foundation for learning. Close liaison with the Reception staff helps to ensure that the transition to the Pre-Prep is as smooth as possible for our children.

The latest Ofsted report states that "the provision plans and provides a very good range of experiences to ensure children’s emotional, physical, social and intellectual capabilities are well promoted.” Read the full report here.

We offer places in the Nursery to those children who have an accepted place in our Reception Class. Sessions are flexibile - children may join for mornings or full days.

If you would like more information, or would like to visit the nursery, please contact the School Office on 01732 351169 or 01732 352706.
