Kirsty Bell from Grays Careers visited our Year 7 and 8 pupils on Monday 19th November 2018 to run Careers Workshops. Kirsty worked with the Year 7s on identifying their strengths and weaknesses, the importance of extra-curricular activities, what a CV is and what different skills people need to be successful in their chosen careers. The Year 8s looked at how they have changed in the past year, what their new schools offer by way of extra-curricular activities and what they will chose to do/how it will benefit them. They also presented their future career - what they need to study at 'A' Level and university, and why it interests them. All participated brilliantly and represented Hilden Grange in a mature and enthusiastic way.
