New Buildings for Hilden Grange
An innovative new building has transformed Hilden Grange. The new building, located at the rear of the school provides a spacious, modern teaching space befitting the high quality education received by Hilden Grange pupils. We are now entering our second year in the new building and children, staff and parents are continuing to greatly enjoy the enhanced environment.
Details of the new building
The project consists of new play areas, new teaching spaces for Nursery and Reception and Years 1-5. The new facilities include Science Labs, an Art and Design area, a Library, and a dining hall. The existing school hall has been retained as a dedicated sports facility and the temporary classrooms replaced by the new buildings. The layout of the main school building – the large Victorian House – has altered internally to provide further classroom space, but there are no external changes.
The aim of the project is not to increase the total capacity of pupils at the school, but to return to our optimum number of 320. We are currently slightly below this number, particularly in the Pre-Prep and would welcome applications from parents who would like to enrol their children at the school. Please call the School Office on 01732 351169 for more information.
