European Day of Languages

European Day of Languages was celebrated with a special assembly for the whole school, compete with a tricky quiz devised by our Year 8 pupils. We welcomed a parent to talk to the children and she entertained them with Russian phrases and the surprising origin of everyday words. Miss Napadano gave an insight into the Italian school system and made us jealous with talk of on-site bakeries and pizzerias! The school looked particularly vibrant with pupils and staff dressed in the colours of European flags.
